Who we are
GlobalB2B (“we”, “the platform”) operates an online marketplace connecting overseas buyers with suppliers. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and the rights you have over it.
What we collect
- Account data: name, email address, country, and a hashed password.
- Business data: company name, registration details, contact details and certification material submitted for supplier verification (KYB).
- Transaction data: inquiries, quotations, orders, shipping addresses and payment status.
- Technical data: IP address and basic request metadata, used for security, fraud prevention and abuse rate-limiting.
- Marketing preferences: newsletter subscription status and opt-out records.
Why we process it
- To operate the marketplace and fulfil orders (performance of a contract).
- To verify suppliers and protect buyers from fraud (legal obligation / legitimate interest).
- To secure the platform against automated abuse (legitimate interest).
- To send service notifications, and marketing only where you have opted in (consent).
Payments
Card payments are processed by our payment provider. We do not store full card numbers. Where a bank transfer is used, we store only the reference and remittance proof you upload.
Your rights (GDPR / CCPA)
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate data.
- Request deletion of your account and associated data.
- Object to processing based on legitimate interest.
- Withdraw marketing consent at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email.

Retention
Order and invoice records are retained for the period required by applicable tax and commercial law. Other data is kept only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected.
Cookies
We use only essential cookies: a session cookie to keep you signed in, and preference cookies remembering your language and display currency. We do not use advertising cookies.
International transfers
The platform serves buyers worldwide and data may be processed outside your country of residence. We apply appropriate safeguards for such transfers.
