Buyer FAQ

Common questions from overseas buyers on specifications, MOQ, samples, delivery, customisation and compliance documents.

Products & specifications

Which grade should I order, and how do listed grades differ?

Grades differ by active content, physical form, size or the polymer system they are designed for. Grade-specific data is provided by the manufacturer for the grade ordered. Send your target specification and we will match it to the right listing.

Can I get specifications, COA, MSDS or a technical data sheet before ordering?

Yes. COA (batch values), MSDS/SDS (handling and transport), TDS (intended properties) and third-party test reports are supplied by the manufacturer for the ordered grade on request. Check that the product name and grade on each document match the quotation.

Are the listed HS codes and packing details authoritative?

HS codes, packing, monthly capacity, container load quantity, port and lead time are shown on the product page where supplied by the manufacturer. Confirm the HS code with your customs broker for the destination market before shipment.

MOQ, pricing & samples

What is the minimum order quantity and how does tiered pricing work?

MOQ is shown on each listing. Tiered pricing reduces the unit price as quantity rises; send the quantity and destination port for a quotation with the full price ladder. Prices are indicative ranges and a firm quotation is issued on inquiry.

Can I request samples before a bulk order?

Samples are available on request for most products. State the grade or size and whether you need a COA with the sample. Sample policy and any sample charge are shown on the listing where supplied.

Do you support mixed containers or small trial orders?

Mixed-container and low-MOQ ready-to-ship orders are available on selected items. Ask for the current list and the carton / container quantity when you enquire.

Lead time, shipping & payment

What is the lead time and which port do you ship from?

Lead time and port of loading are confirmed per order and shown on the listing where supplied. Common loading ports include Qingdao, Shanghai, Ningbo, Shenzhen and Xiamen depending on the supplier's location.

Which incoterms and payment terms are available?

Standard incoterms (FOB, CIF, EXW and others) and payment terms are stated on the product page where supplied. Escrow-protected ordering is available for buyers who want payment held until order confirmation.

How do I get a freight quote?

Send the quantity, destination port and preferred incoterm with your inquiry; freight is quoted alongside the goods. Full-container vs less-than-container loading materially changes landed cost.

Customisation & OEM

Do you support OEM, private label or custom printing?

Yes on many lines: custom sizes, colours, gauges, packaging and logo printing are available subject to tooling and MOQ. Artwork is approved from a digital proof before production; the custom version usually carries its own MOQ.

Can products be made to my own specification?

Compound formulation, dimensions, material grade and control configuration can be specified per enquiry. Send the target property profile or drawing and we will confirm feasibility with the manufacturer.

Compliance & documents

Which compliance documents are available?

Documentation is provided per ordered grade by the manufacturer on request. For compostable and food-contact products, conformity documentation (EN 13432 / ASTM D6400 / ASTM D6868, as applicable) can be requested. Buyers should confirm acceptance and labelling rules in their destination market before ordering.

Do you make environmental or certification claims on products?

We do not make unqualified degradability or certification claims. Any claim on a listing is tied to documentation for the specific grade, and industrial composting facilities are not available in every market. Ask for the certificate and verify the issuing body and validity before relying on it.

Who is responsible for destination-market compliance?

The buyer confirms suitability, labelling and regulatory acceptance in the destination market. We supply the manufacturer documentation for the ordered grade to support that review.

Inquiries, quotes & orders

How do I send an inquiry?

Use the inquiry form on any product page, or post a buying request in the RFQ market. Include the grade or SKU, quantity, destination port and any documents you need; we return a quotation with the relevant files attached.

Do I need an account to inquire?

No. Guest inquiries with a business email are accepted. An account lets you track quotes, samples and orders in one place.

What happens after I submit a request?

Your request is matched to verified suppliers, quotes are collected, and you can compare them before placing an order. Order status and shipment tracking are available from the dashboard.

Still need an answer?

Send the grade, quantity and destination port and we will return a quotation with the relevant documentation attached.
